Vo Trong Nghia Precedent Study

drawing set and visualisations

Using Rhinoceros to create a architectural drawing set, as well as producing high quality visual renders. Both provided a valuable skill set which has been applied and elevated design projects following this specific brief. The purpose of this project was to extract technical drawings and create visualisations in a presentational manner. One that must concisely outline the functions and delineation of spaces across the precedent building. Using a flat colour scheme, pictorial icons, and context, I was able to present the role of these different spaces in a playful yet accessible way.

Visualising a kindergarten, I celebrated an illustrative, playful and almost child-like style. Remaining accurate and to an appropriate architectural scale, I was able to present an exploded isometric while inserting a layer of the project’s context.
